Our promise
Gallery Cleaner is built privacy-first. All photo and video processing — scanning, duplicate detection, compression — happens entirely on your device. We never upload, store or transmit your media.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect your photos, videos, location, contacts or any personally identifiable information. There are no user accounts and no cloud sync.
Anonymous analytics
With your explicit opt-in, we may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g. which features are opened) to improve the app. This data contains no identifiers and cannot be linked back to you. You can disable this at any time in Settings.
Permissions
Gallery Cleaner requests access to your Photo Library solely to perform cleanup tasks on-device. Face ID is used only to unlock the optional Secure Folder.
Third parties
We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect personal data in the first place.
Your rights (GDPR)
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port any data we hold about you. Since we do not collect personal data, there is generally nothing to request — but you may always contact us to confirm.
